I decided to figure out which Tasty Cake was best for you to eat before a 20 minute workout.  I got the nutritional facts for Chocolate Juniors, Chocolate Cupcakes, and Kandy Kakes, all Tasty Cake products.  I hypothesized that the Kandy Kakes would be best for you because I believed they obtained the fewest amount of sugar.  I decided to test this because many teenagers, like myself, don’t always eat very healthy and many of us play a sport or sports.  So if you do happen to eat a tasty Cake before a workout, you might want to know which one will be best for you.
When I obtained the data, I learned that Chocolate Juniors actually contained the greatest amount of sugar (carbohydrates) whish was 48g, while Chocolate Cupcakes came in just behind that with 40g and Kandy Kakes with only 20g.  So with that, since in the first 20 minutes of a workout, you are mainly burning carbs, Kandy Kakes would burn off rather quickly with their low amount of carbs.  While also giving you the same amount of protein as Chocolate Juniors and Cupcakes, Kandy Kakes are the best Tasty Cake product to eat before a 20 minute workout.  Also, the serving sizes of these products are actually very accurate, I rarely eat more than one packet of a Tasty cake at a time, and one packet is the serving size.  Yes, the Kandy Kakes are fairly small, but the peanut butter inside will fill you up, and the Chocolate Juniors are very big, but there is only one per packet.  So with that, the serving sizes are very accurate or proportional.  On the box of the Kandy Kakes, they claimed that there were only 90 calories per cake.  While this does seem great, the box also says that the serving size is 180 calories for the two cakes.  So really, if you can look at the label and divide by two, you could figure that out.  This label is mainly for the people who are hopping n board with the “Eat Healthier” life style.
