What Food is More Benificial After an Hour Workout

After working out for an hour which food would you choose? Would you pick a Chiquita banana, a bag of salted  peanuts, or a chewy chocolate dips chocolate chip granola bar? I researched which food would be more beneficial for you after an hour workout.  I compared which food had the most sodium, calories, protein, and carbohydrates. I believe that you should eat a bag of peanuts after working out for an hour because it is more beneficial for you. When you sweat you loose salt, burn carbohydrates first, and use muscle that needs to be restored. Salted peanuts have lots of salt on them from the company adding more salt to them. Also a bag of peanuts has more protein to help you build those muscles you used and make them stronger. Most people probably think that fruit would be the food to eat after a workout because it's healthy. But, if doesn't have  a lot of carbohydrates, protein, or sodium then you can't replenish what you've used. You need replenish those three things to keep your muscles strong and the amount in your body to a good level so everything works the best. So by doing this research I will find out which food is more beneficial to accomplish that.
On the nutrition labels it says a Chiquita banana has 1gram of protein, 0mg of sodium, and 30g of carbohydrates. A bag of salted peanuts has 180mg of sodium, 9g of carbohydrates and 16g of protein. Lastly, a chocolate dips chocolate chip chewy granola bar has 80mg of sodium, 23g of carbohydrates, and 2g of protein.  My hypothesis was supported because out of three foods, the salted peanuts had  the most protein and sodium. This means that you will replenish the salt you lost from sweating and help gain more of the muscles you used. The serving sizes of two of the foods are accurate. Most people will eat one banana or one bag of peanuts. But, the granola bar serving may not be accurate depending on the person. Some people will eat two granola bars in order to be satisfied. So the  protein, and sodium count would be greater.  The serving size of the banana and granola bar are similar because you're getting the count of only one thing. For the bag of peanuts it's taking the sodium, protein, and carbohydrate amount from 72 peanuts (amount in a 2oz bag). So it's going to be high since they are taking the amount of nutrition of one peanut and combining with others compared to one banana or granola bar. If you were to have multiple bags of peanuts, bananas, or granola bars the content would increase. for example, if you were to have two granola bars the nutritional content would double. So instead of 1g of protein it would be 2g.
