                                                              FOOD ANALYSIS
Today I have learned many new things about the food i eat everyday.  First of all i now know how much calories my body is breaking down every morning i eat my toaster struddle.  Every kind of food is filled with a different amount of calories, grams fat, sodium, carbs, and protein.  The food you eat determines the amount of each you get. some foods have more calcium then others, as well as vitamin a and vitamin c.  The food we eat shapes the way our bodies are.
Every food has an appropriate serving size, which is basically the amount you should have within one serving. But do we really eat based off of what is says on the box? of course not.  We usually eat until we are full. the manufacturer gives you the appropriate amount of food per serving, its up to us if we really listen.  Some products are healthier per gram so the serving size will be a bit more.  Most of the claims on labels are nutrition related.  But some claims may be "natural fruit flavors". And sometimes it will read "will other natural flavors", it can be misleading because buyers look for words like natural or pure.  Companies use those words to get buyers.  My calculations support the product claims because for a claim like "artificial flavor" that product would have much more grams fat then a product that claims "natural flavor".  The predominant ingredient by weight is sugar.  When there are specific ingredients that clearly are more abundant then others they are usually stated first in the ingredients list.  While the less important ingredients are listed closer to the end of the list.  The Celeste was the unhealthiest as it was highest in calories, total fat, sat. fat, and carbs.  The healthiest was the Fruit Rounds as it was the lowest in calories, total fat, sat. fat, and carbs.
