Which Breakfast food is healthier?

The question
I’ve reasearched is: which breakfast food is healthier? The three foods I
compared were FiberPlus™ bars (made by Kellogg’s),
frozen waffles (manufactured at Stop and Shop), and a breakfast shake (made by
CareOne). I think that the shake would be the healthiest. This question is
relevant because breakfast is the start of your day, so you should eat the best
and healthiest option.
The
shake had the least amount of calories per serving. It had only 110 calories,
while the fiber bar had 120, and the waffles had 180. The serving size ofthe fiber bar was 1 bar
(36g), the waffles was 2 waffles (70g), and the shake was 1 scoop (26g). The
FiberPlus bar had 9g of fiber, while the waffles had 1g, and the shake had 4. The
waffles had the most protein, with 4g, while the fiber bar and shake both had
2g. The fiber bar had 2g of saturated fat, the waffles had 7g, and the shake
only had .5g.
My hypothesis was
supported because the shake was essentially the healthiest breakfast choice. It
had the least amount of calories, a
decent amount of fiber, and alrhough it had low protein, it barely had any
saturated fat. The serving sizes that each of the items suggested were
realistic, a person ould normally only eat one fiber bar or two wffles in one
sitting. And one scoop of the breakfast shake (mixed with milk) seems realistic
also. The difference in serving sizes does help explain the nutritional values
of each item, because it helps you compare brands or different food items
rationally. The difference in serving size effects the nutritional content of
each item because, for example, the shake had the lowest serving size, and also
had the least amount of calories and saturated fats. If the shake had a bigger
serving size, it’d be easier to compare to the other items.
