Above are nutriton labels for 3 different sports drinks that i got from http://www.dietfacts.com/ all 3 drinks are designed for you to drink during physical activity, so which one is healthier,? i analyzed the data and here are my findings. Gatorade has 20 calories per 8 fl oz, 5g of carbs fom sugar, 0g of fat or protien. Powerade has 50 cal per 8 fl oz, 14 g sugar, and no grams of fat or protien. vitamin water has 50 calories, 13g of sugar and again no fat or protien. In all cases you are basically getting your calories or energy from sugar and nothing else. The nutriton from theese drinks is almost identical the healthiest is the Gatorade and only because its G2 if you want the most nutrients drink powerade. after concluding my studies i found that many drinks claim to be healthier than the "competition" but they are in fact the very same.
