What is the ozone layer?????

“The Ozone Layer is going to fall, it’s going to fall on us and the world is going to end”. That statement is one of the most frequently stated statements ever seems the first talk of the ozone? What is the ozone layer? Where is the ozone layer? Most people usually say or think that the ozone layer is located within the cloud. Well I here to tell you everything you have been hearing am wrong. There is exactly two parts to the ozone layer. All almost all of the ozone layer is about 6 to 10 miles above the surface and goes up about 30 miles more. The ozone layer is in a region of the atmosphere that is formally known as the stratosphere. The rest of the ozone layer is called the troposphere.

The molecules in the upper atmosphere and lower atmosphere are chemically identical. Each molecule consists of three oxygen atoms. Even though they are all the same, they all have different roles. They also all have different effects on humans. The stratospheric ozone (sometimes referred to as the “good ozone”) plays a good role for humans. The stratospheric ozone absorbs almost all of the biologically damaging ultraviolet sunlight as called UV-B. As the ozone absorbs the ultraviolet radiation it actually creates a source of heat. That source of heat actually forms the stratosphere. The ozone actually plays a key role in the structure of the Earth temperature. If the ozone layer didn’t have its filtering action it would be very bad for the Earth. It would be bad because the Sun’s UV- B radiation would penetrate the atmosphere and would reach the Earth’s Surface. Scientist has figured this information out by experimenting with plants, animals and clinical studies of humans. The ozone surface that comes into contact with life also has a destructive side. The destructive side would be commonly known as the “bad ozone”. Simply because the ozone reacts so strong with other molecules the ozone contains a high level of toxic to living systems. Several scientists have stated that the harmful effects of the ozone on crop production, forest growth, and human health.

With the ozone layer have dual roles leads to two separate in environmental issues.
